Use this wagering calculator to turn a multiplier such as 30x into a counted-wagering target. Choose whether the terms apply to the bonus alone, the deposit plus bonus, or actual free-spin winnings. You can also allow for a reduced game contribution and progress already credited.
The result is turnover arithmetic, not a forecast of winnings or a deposit recommendation. Enter the figures from the specific promotion rather than assuming every coupon at a casino uses the same rules. Our player guides explain the related conditions, while the bonus hub groups the promotion types.
Calculate total and remaining wagering
Calculate a wagering requirement
Use one currency throughout. Dollar amounts below are formatted as AUD. Enter the basis and multiplier stated in the specific coupon.
Choose the right basis before entering a multiplier
Bonus only
Use the promotional credit named in the terms. A qualifying deposit may be required to obtain it without being part of this particular wagering base.
Deposit plus bonus
Add the qualifying deposit and the bonus before multiplying. Do not leave the deposit out when the terms explicitly include both amounts.
Free-spin winnings
Use the actual amount won and credited from the promotional spins when that is the stated base. The number of spins is not a cash amount.
A wording difference can substantially change the target. “30x bonus” and “30x deposit plus bonus” are different instructions even though both display 30x. If the wording is unclear, ask support which amount is multiplied and keep the answer with the coupon terms.
Use one currency consistently. The tool formats monetary values as Australian dollars for readability; it does not convert currencies. If the promotion and account use another currency, the arithmetic still requires all amounts to be entered in the same unit, and the displayed AUD label should not be treated as an exchange-rate calculation.
The optional stake field only estimates a number of paid rounds. Enter a stake that the promotion permits. Leaving that field blank gives monetary turnover results without a round count. The calculator cannot read a casino’s current bet limit or decide whether a particular stake complies.
Three examples showing why the basis matters
$50 bonus at 30x
If the requirement applies to the bonus alone, $50 × 30 gives $1,500 in counted wagering. At 100% contribution, the corresponding qualifying stakes are also $1,500.
$50 deposit plus $50 bonus
With 30x applied to both amounts, ($50 + $50) × 30 gives $3,000 in counted wagering. The same multiplier produces twice the first example’s target.
$12 in spin winnings at 40x
If the terms apply 40x to actual winnings, $12 × 40 gives $480 in counted wagering. The original number of free spins is not multiplied here.
These are hypothetical arithmetic examples, not conditions attributed to the offers elsewhere on this site. As a published illustration of differing bases, Ozwin’s FAQ describes a deposit-match example that includes both the deposit and bonus. Confirm the specific coupon’s current terms rather than applying that example across all promotions.
For different promotion types, read free spins versus free chips and the deposit-match guide. A free-spin promotion can use a different wagering base from a match bonus at the same operator.
Adjust for game contribution and progress already counted
A contribution rate tells you how much of each eligible stake counts towards the target. At 100%, a permitted $1 stake contributes $1. At 50%, that stake contributes $0.50. A 0% or excluded game provides no qualifying progress, so the calculator rejects a zero contribution instead of displaying a misleading finite result.
Example with partial progress
Suppose the total counted target is $1,500 and the casino has already credited $300. That leaves $1,200 of counted wagering. At a constant 50% contribution, $1,200 ÷ 0.50 gives $2,400 in remaining qualifying stakes.
If the permitted stake is $2 per paid round, the estimate is 1,200 paid rounds. It does not include an allowance for losing the balance before those rounds are completed.
Enter credited progress after the casino has applied its contribution rules. If you have placed $200 of stakes on a 50%-contribution game, that represents $100 of counted progress in this simple example. Entering $200 as credited wagering would overstate progress.
If the game or contribution changes, recalculate using the remaining counted target and the new rate. The tool assumes one contribution for the remaining stakes; it does not combine a complete history of games. Check our bonus game restrictions guide before treating lobby availability as proof of contribution.
What the calculator results mean
Total counted wagering target is the selected base multiplied by the requirement. Remaining counted wagering subtracts credited progress, stopping at zero. Remaining stakes at this contribution divides that remainder by the contribution rate expressed as a decimal.
Remaining stakes are rounded up to the next cent. If you enter a permitted stake, the round estimate is rounded up to a whole paid round. A result of zero means only that the supplied progress meets the calculated target; it is not a confirmation from the casino.
Turnover is different from money deposited or lost. The same funds can be staked more than once after returns during play, while a losing balance can end a session before a target is reached. The tool does not model those outcomes, calculate a completion probability or tell you how much money would be enough to finish.
RTP is also a separate concept. It does not guarantee the return from a particular session or convert this calculation into a profit forecast. Use RTP explained for that distinction. Do not treat a large round estimate as an instruction to keep playing or increase the stake.
Other rules the arithmetic cannot check
Review the deadline, maximum bet, excluded games, contribution schedule and account eligibility. A mathematically completed target does not override a breached condition. The tool does not access an account, verify its history or determine whether the operator has counted a particular round.
A cashout cap and the treatment of promotional credit are separate from the target. Read bonus withdrawal limits and sticky versus non-sticky bonuses before interpreting a balance as fully withdrawable. For a discrepancy between this estimate and an account counter, retain the inputs and ask which base and contribution the operator applied.
Keep your own spending and time limits independent of a promotion. You do not have to continue because a requirement remains unfinished. The responsible-gambling page explains support options, and withdrawal problems covers organising a payment or balance query.
ACMA states that online casino-style services cannot legally be provided to people in Australia. Its guidance about illegal gambling operators provides the relevant context. This calculator explains an arithmetic rule; it does not establish an operator’s authorisation.
Wagering calculator FAQs
How do I calculate a wagering requirement?
Multiply the amount named in the terms by the wagering multiplier. A $50 bonus with 30x wagering on the bonus alone gives a $1,500 counted-wagering target. Deposit-plus-bonus terms use the combined amount instead.
What is the difference between bonus-only and deposit-plus-bonus wagering?
Bonus-only wagering applies the multiplier to the bonus. Deposit-plus-bonus wagering applies it to the sum of the qualifying deposit and bonus, which can produce a larger target for the same multiplier.
What should I enter for free-spin winnings?
Enter the actual promotional winnings credited from the spins, if the terms apply wagering to those winnings. Do not enter the number of spins or assume that their stated spin value equals the winnings.
How does game contribution change the calculation?
Contribution is the proportion of an eligible stake counted towards wagering. At 50% contribution, $1 of permitted stakes counts as $0.50 of progress. A 0% game cannot complete that requirement.
What does already credited wagering mean?
It means progress the casino has already counted after contribution adjustments. It is not your deposit, current balance or raw stakes on a reduced-contribution game.
Does the calculator tell me how much money to deposit?
No. It estimates turnover from the supplied inputs. Turnover can include repeatedly staking money returned during play, so it is different from the amount deposited and from losses.
Can the calculator predict my profit or final balance?
No. It does not simulate game results, bankroll survival or the probability of completing wagering. It cannot determine an eligible withdrawal or guarantee a profit.
What does the paid-round estimate assume?
It divides remaining stakes by the entered stake and rounds up to a whole paid round. It assumes that the stake is permitted and the contribution stays the same. It does not calculate play time or free feature spins.
Does a zero remaining result prove I can withdraw?
No. It only means the entered progress meets the calculated target. Verification, cashout limits, restricted play, expiry and other account or promotion conditions can still matter.
Are my calculator entries sent to the casino?
No. The calculator performs its arithmetic in your browser and has no submission to a casino. It does not read or update an account’s actual wagering counter.
