Bonus Withdrawal Limits

A bonus withdrawal limit can restrict what is payable even after wagering is finished. It is different from a daily payout limit, a payment method’s maximum transfer or a fee. Understanding which rule applies is the first step towards making sense of the amount shown in the cashier.

This guide explains fixed caps, multiplier-based caps, removal of promotional credit and payment schedules using clearly labelled examples. For the turnover calculation itself, use our wagering calculator. For a payment already requested, read withdrawal times or withdrawal problems.

Three limits that answer different questions

Bonus cashout cap

How much can become payable from the relevant promotion? A cap can restrict the total eligible amount, not just the size of one transfer.

Periodic payout limit

How much can be released in a day, week or other period? A limit can spread an eligible balance across instalments without being a bonus cap.

Payment-method limit

What amount can the particular route send? Minimum and maximum amounts can differ between methods and from the promotion’s own rules.

A maximum bet is another separate condition: it limits a permitted stake during bonus play rather than the withdrawal amount. Wagering defines required turnover. Neither should be used as a substitute for the cashout rule. Keep these terms separate when comparing offers or asking support to explain a decision.

The order of the conditions matters too. An account balance can include a bonus that is not cashable, winnings subject to a cap and funds with another status. Ask which portion each rule covers rather than applying a single cap to the whole account without evidence.

Fixed cashout caps: a maximum amount from the promotion

A fixed cap is expressed as an amount, such as a hypothetical maximum cashout of $100 from a particular no-deposit coupon. The important questions are the currency, the affected balance and the point when the cap is applied. A dollar symbol alone does not establish that the amount is AUD.

Example: $100 maximum from a coupon

Suppose the terms explicitly limit the eligible promotion balance to $100 after all required adjustments. If that adjusted balance is $260, the stated cap would limit the amount from that promotion to $100. If the adjusted balance is only $65, the cap does not increase it to $100.

This is a hypothetical example of a defined rule, not a claim about any specific casino or code.

Check what happens to an excess balance. The terms may describe its removal or the point when it ceases to be eligible; do not assume an excess can be withdrawn later in smaller pieces. Splitting a request does not automatically change a promotion’s total maximum.

For related promotions, see no-deposit bonuses, free chips and free spins. The offer category alone does not establish its cap.

Multiplier caps: identify what is being multiplied

A phrase such as “10x maximum cashout” is incomplete without its base. Ten times a $20 qualifying deposit gives $200; ten times a $50 bonus gives $500. They are different calculations even though both use 10x.

Deposit-based example

If a hypothetical clause says 10x the qualifying deposit and that deposit is $20, the calculated cap is $200.

Bonus-based example

If a different clause says 10x the bonus and that bonus is $50, the calculated cap is $500.

Wagering multiplier

A 30x wagering requirement calculates turnover. It is not a 30x withdrawal cap unless a separate clause explicitly says so.

Do not replace the qualifying amount with every deposit ever made, the current balance or the value of later coupons. Ask which transaction or bonus is the base. If the clause sets both a multiplier and a fixed ceiling, ask how they interact rather than choosing whichever produces the larger result.

Bonus removal can change the calculation

Some promotional credit is non-cashable and may be removed when a withdrawal is calculated. That treatment is separate from a maximum cashout. Read our sticky versus non-sticky bonus guide for the distinction.

For a hypothetical balance of $280 containing a removable $50 bonus, deducting that bonus leaves $230 before any other applicable rule. But the final amount cannot be established without knowing whether a cap applies and what the terms say about the sequence. Do not assume every operator deducts the bonus before applying the cap, or that the displayed balance already reflects the deduction.

Ask for a breakdown: balance used in the calculation, promotional credit removed, cap applied, other adjustment and final amount approved. This is particularly useful when an offer contains several components. Free-spin winnings may have a different treatment from a deposit match credited alongside them.

A completed wagering counter only answers the turnover question. It does not confirm that all promotional credit is cashable, that no cap remains or that account verification is complete. The game-restriction guide explains another set of conditions that can affect eligibility.

What “no maximum cashout” does and does not establish

The phrase can mean there is no promotion-specific ceiling on the relevant winnings. Its scope still matters: does it cover the match bonus, the free-spin component, a particular coupon or another named category? Do not extend one clause to every promotion at the same casino.

As a published example, Ozwin’s FAQ, checked on 19 October 2026, says its match-deposit, cashback and comp-point bonuses do not have a maximum cashout. The same FAQ separately says withdrawal limits depend on the banking method. This illustrates why a promotion cap and banking limits must be read separately; confirm the current coupon-specific terms for your account.

No maximum cashout does not remove a wagering requirement, permitted-bet rule, verification check or payment schedule. It also does not guarantee the size of a balance after play. For comparisons of qualifying offers, use the welcome-bonus guide and deposit-match guide.

Payout limits, minimums and fees come after eligibility

Once an amount is eligible, the payment route can impose another set of practical limits. A hypothetical $3,000 eligible balance with a $1,000 weekly payout limit could require three instalments under that rule. It would not automatically mean that $2,000 is forfeited. Check the actual schedule, conditions and whether a request is needed for each payment.

A minimum withdrawal can also conflict with a small bonus cashout. Ask which supported route can pay the eligible amount and how the operator handles the conflict. Do not assume that adding another deposit changes the cap or is necessary to obtain an explanation.

Fees and currency conversion can affect what reaches the receiving account. For example, Ozwin’s public bank-wire page separately lists a minimum and fee. These are payment conditions, not a definition of the maximum cashout from a bonus. Our banking hub explains the method-specific questions to ask.

Questions for a specific promotion

“For coupon [code], what is the maximum eligible withdrawal, which amount is used for any multiplier, and does the cap include the original deposit? Is promotional credit removed, in what order is the calculation performed, and do the free-spin and match components have different rules?”

Retain the coupon terms and support response with the relevant transaction record. If the approved amount differs from your calculation, ask for the clause and itemised figures. Avoid changing the promotion or cancelling a withdrawal until you understand the effect on the existing balance.

Use the casino-complaints guide if a clear calculation is not provided, and the verification guide for outstanding account checks. The player-guides hub links the related explanations. Aus Casino Guide cannot access balances or determine the outcome of an individual dispute.

Bonus withdrawal limit FAQs

What is a bonus maximum cashout?

It is a promotion condition restricting the amount eligible to be withdrawn from the relevant bonus or its winnings. Check exactly which balance it covers and how the amount is calculated.

Is a bonus cashout cap the same as a weekly withdrawal limit?

No. A bonus cap can restrict the total amount payable from a promotion. A weekly payout limit can instead spread an otherwise eligible amount across several payments.

Does finishing wagering remove a cashout cap?

Not automatically. Wagering and the maximum cashout are separate conditions. Completing the turnover requirement does not cancel a cap unless the specific terms say so.

What does a 10x maximum cashout mean?

It means ten times the amount named as the base in that clause. The base might be a bonus or qualifying deposit; do not assume which one applies from the multiplier alone.

Does no maximum cashout mean I can withdraw everything immediately?

No. Other conditions can still apply, including verification, wagering, bonus removal, payment-method limits and payout schedules. Confirm the scope of the wording.

Is the original bonus included in the amount I can withdraw?

That depends on the promotion. A non-cashable bonus may be removed when a withdrawal is calculated. Ask about the deduction and its order relative to any cap.

Can free-spin winnings have a different cashout cap from a deposit bonus?

Yes. Read each component’s rules separately. A welcome package can contain a match bonus and promotional spins with different wagering or withdrawal conditions.

What if the bonus cap is lower than the payment method’s minimum withdrawal?

Ask the operator how the eligible amount can be paid and which supported route applies. Do not assume another deposit will fix the conflict or that the cap disappears.

Why might the received amount be lower than the approved withdrawal?

Check currency conversion, disclosed fees and whether the payment is an instalment. These can be separate from a bonus cap, so ask for an itemised explanation.

What should I request if I disagree with a cashout calculation?

Ask for the specific clause, promotion code, balance before deductions, each deduction, the cap calculation and the final approved amount. Keep the relevant terms and transaction history with the written response.
